Course Description: American Red Cross CPR and AED programs are designed to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency situation with skills that can save a life. CPR/AED certification is valid for 1 years.
Additional training in bloodborne pathogens, can be added to CPR and first aid training to prepare you to prevent and respond to life-threatening emergencies (Additional Cost: $30.00). Bloodborne Pathogen certification is valid for 1 year.
Red Cross Preparedness programs in CPR and AED are available for any age and can be tailored to the needs of specific groups and individuals. Whether you work with children, want training for employees, are a professional rescuer, or simply want to know how to help someone in an emergency, this is the program for you.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training helps your organization comply with the training component of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, including OSHA's Needlestick Standard. In about two hours, employees learn vital information about managing a potential exposure to an infectious disease in the workplace, including:
· How bloodborne pathogens are spread
· How to prevent exposures
What to do if exposed to infectious materials
