CCISD Exemplary Celebration

Congratulations to CCISD for your first ever Exemplary Rating from the Texas Education Agency!

Motor Vehicle Crimes

Motor vehicle crimes have always been one of the main crimes committed in Clear Lake City.  However, in recent weeks reports of these crimes are increasingly being reported to the management office.

Fall Youth Programs

We have several activities for youth to participate in this fall, including karate, tennis, non-contact rugby, and a P.E. for home schooled children. Check out what we have to offer and as always, CLCCA residents receive a 30% discount on all fees!

The End of the Summer Pool Season is Near!

The Rec Center outdoor pool, Camino South Pool, and Meadowgreen pool will be open on a limited schedule starting August 23rd.  All pools will be closed Monday-Friday, but will remain open on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-8pm until September 6th.

However, our indoor pool, like always, is open year round!

National Public Lands Day Event in Camino South

In partnership with the City of Houston and Keep Houston Beautiful, CLCCA is organizing a community clean up day along Sealiner (between Metro’s property and Reseda).  This is your opportunity to help give back to the community.

Saturday, September 25, 2010

With your help, we won’t take more than a couple hours of your Saturday.
Following the clean up a picnic lunch will be sponsored at the community park adjacent to the work site.

Highway 3 Entrances

Our office receives many complaints concerning the entrances at Highway 3.  Those entrances are part of a pipeline easement still owened by Exxon and are not the responsibility of CLCCA to maintain.  They were being maintained by CLCCA for many years and at one point the cost was being passed thru to Exxon.  Several years back the reimbursement stopped.  We are working with Exxon to negotiate a partnership for the maintenance.  As most of you are aware, CLCCA has an extremely limited income stream and in an effort to balance the budget we have stopped mowing all areas of land that are not legally our responsibility.  We hope to have an agreement in place with Exxon soon.  However, we simply can not continue to maintain those areas without reimbursement.

Please know that we are not apathetic to your concerns.

Physical Education Program for Home School

The Clear Lake Rec Center will be offering a PE for home schooled kids program this fall!
